Compared to pre-pandemic days, midtown Manhattan is still pretty much a ghost town even in the middle of the day. I believe it was around 1pm, and the streets were pretty empty. That’s good for me, because I prefer to not be packed shoulder-to-shoulder with people even though I am masked, fully vaccinated, and boosted. At the moment I’m troubleshooting a technical issue, or I’d search my archives for a photo of a similar time a few years ago just to compare the amount of foot traffic.
