I used two types of framing to direct the viewer’s eye in this shot. In the foreground I shot between foliage, and in the background the art is framed between two pillars. The color photo was nice enough, but black and white allows us to focus on the textures without being distracted by color. Zooming in or cropping out the surrounding area made the image look flat, so I left it all to make the shot more interesting.
