Now that most (if not all) subway stations get wifi and mobile phone coverage, it is common to see people taking calls or enjoying media on their phones while they wait for the train. There was some talk awhile back about extending the signal to the trains themselves, which may or may not be a good idea, considering how some folks insist on being on speakerphone. For now I’ll simply enjoy being able to get a signal from the platform.
