Boarding the Lexington Ave Express

Posted on 17 November 202517 November 2025
2025 October 8. New York City, USA.

I’m not going to lie: some of these subway stations feel downright claustrophobic. Between trains rushing in opposite directions mere feet away on either side of the platform to the crush of people that can grow overwhelming during rush hours, it is easy to feel overwhelmed. I’m used to it, but I admit I try to time my travels into and out of Manhattan during less busy times. Not only is it less stressful, it’s easier for me to relax and genuinely enjoy the bustle. I have to time and space to capture moments like this one.
