A few stories above the busy streets of New York City, a lone Christmas tree’s lights shine out of a window. It’s a small piece of beauty over the city’s gritty streets, a sign of hope, perhaps, in a world that speeds by loudly. Or perhaps it is a sign of isolation, even loneliness. I suppose it depends on your perspective.
