I have been struggling to get back in touch with my artistic voice after my country elected a man who ran on a platform of disrespect, lies, and hatred. But as an artist I feel it is my duty to use my gifts to add beauty to the world now more than ever. So I am diving back in.
Yesterday a friend mentioned not realizing I have two photo books out. For anyone else who did not realize this, allow me to introduce you to them.
Afterglow is a 26-page book of urban sunsets. I made it to remind us that even in the midst of a massive urban area we are still in touch with nature, if we would only make time to look. If like me you are reeling from the results of this recent election, the vibrant colors of these sunsets will help raise your spirits. You can purchase your copy from Blurb.

Street Photography in NYC: 2007-2015 is a retrospective of my street photography over the first nine years I was seriously shooting. The pages are full of color and black and white photos of ordinary people going about their daily lives in New York City. You can see the beauty in our diversity as New Yorkers, as people. This is a signed, 50-copy limited edition, but there are some copies left. Order your copy directly from my website.
May the photos in these two books, in my online portfolio, and on this blog remind you of all that is right and beautiful in the world and in the people around us.
