Revamping and Rethinking

Posted on 21 November 2017

I recently participated in a four week fine art photography boot camp led by photographer Brooke Shaden. It was eye-opening. Under Brooke’s warm, engaging tutelage I discovered many ways in which I feel I am on the right path and other ways where I can improve. I am still digesting everything I learned.

As I am digesting things I am making changes. My first major change will be revamping my About Me page on LLFA’s main site. Another change is improving how I write about my art. Until now I haven’t put much thought into my captions. I have already begun to change that in my Instagram posts, which means I am posting less often. That’s fine. Quality is far more important than quantity.

The crowded subway car inches along the tracks. This young man stares off into space, seemingly lost in thought. From This Is Us, 18 October 2017. New York City, USA.
