Intergenerational Beauty

Posted on 17 March 201814 March 2018

No matter how many subway portraits I make, I keep finding the people on the subway interesting. I need to make a conscious effort to shoot more mature faces though. A year ago I noticed much of my street photography was of young adults and children. There is nothing wrong with photographing them, but New York City has a lot more than kids and twenty-somethings walking its streets. Everyone is interesting, regardless of age, and I want my photography to celebrate intergenerational beauty.

From This Is Us, 27 December 2017. New York City, USA.
