Many photos can be cropped in more than one way. This photo is a perfect example. I’ve found cropping so only the people are visible sometimes makes the photo less interesting. This cropping allows a sense of time and place and also gives the sense of these two people being in a world which is much bigger than them and their agenda (whatever it might be) at that moment.
