The entrance to Bronx’s 180th Street Station has plenty of space to sit, wait, and people watch. It’s too bad the bricks, center seating, and flagpole make it a hazard for mobility impaired and vision impaired citizens. (There is a brick-paved ramp to the right of the frame.) However when asked about those things, the MTA replied they meet ADA guidelines, which means they did the bare minimum to be ADA compliant. I look forward to the day our public spaces are properly accessible for all, not minimally legal.
