Throwback Thursday: Very Early Street Photography

Posted on 3 September 20153 September 2015

When I made this photo I had no concept of street photography and wasn’t even shooting seriously. I hadn’t started learning anything about the technical side of photography. But even so you can see the beginnings of my style of street photography. It hasn’t changed much in the past eight and a half years.

If I had to capture this scene again today with my professional camera, I would probably compose it in much the same way.

Midtown Manhattan, March 2007. Made with my first digital camera: an HP Photosmart 735.
Midtown Manhattan, March 2007. Made with my first DSLR: an original Canon EOS Rebel.
