Participants in the 2018 New York City Marathon turn the corner at Alexander Avenue and 138th Street as they made their way through the South Bronx. After I made this pic I dashed out into the street to embrace my friend, Mike (in the orange cap). I surprised him by tracking him via an app and showing up just past Mile 20 to cheer him on. He completed the course to collect his first marathon medal in over 20 years. I am very proud of him! 4 November 2018.
