
Six days a week local mail carriers pound the pavement to hand-deliver mail to local residents and businesses. Packages larger than a padded envelope generally come by truck, and everything else comes via hand cart. This is true in all manner of weather. I admire the women and men who do this, some for their entire working lives.
So true about Post Office employees. I can’t even imagine carrying all that mail each day. Nice image.
