I could have cropped this closer, but I chose not to. Photos are not as interesting without a sense of place. Yes, the person standing next to the Pose poster, as though they are also posing, is interesting. But the photo is downright fascinating on a number of levels when you also see where they are posing. Then the photo becomes a commentary on their relationship to their environment, not just their relationship to the sign.
