2021 has personally started out quiet, for which I am thankful. I looked at my photo archives, and the numbers show just how little I made it out to shoot last year. In a normal year I make well over 10K shots. Last year I made 3600, including mobile phone shots. Last year was not a normal year by any stretch of the imagination, and this year isn’t likely to be either. C’est la vie.
I hope you remain safe and healthy. COVID-19 vaccines are rolling out here in NYC, though I probably won’t be eligible for one until the final phase this summer. As soon as I am eligible, though, you better believe I’m getting it. I want to get back to being able to go out with friends and freely hug without worrying about unknowingly infecting one of them. And of course, that will mean getting out to shoot more, praises be!
