The Grace building displays a holiday tree in the lobby on 42nd Street. It was one of many holiday sights I enjoyed while making time to enjoy my city’s holiday decorations for the first time in a few years. The week of Christmas I spent a few hours a day from Monday through Wednesday traipsing through Manhattan with my camera. It’s something I never got around to for various reasons even a couple of years before the pandemic. I needed that infusion of brightly lit beauty and am glad I did that for myself, even if my legs ached for a couple of days afterwards.
