During the week after the NYC Marathon I decided a leisurely stroll through Central Park’s southwest side was in order. Since I live in the Bronx and am a homebody, I don’t get out to Central Park, dubbed ‘NYC’s Backyard’, very often. On this day I started at 59th St. and Central Park West and walked into the park up to 77th Street and the Museum of Natural History (somewhere else I need to visit). The trees were just past peak color, but it was still a lovely, colorful walk.
