Friends strolling together along a wide sidewalk shows comradery. There’s enough space for others to easily get around them, so I didn’t feel the least bit ragey when I encountered them. (My fellow New Yorkers know the frustration of encountering groups who walk three and four abreast on a crowded sidewalk!)
