Unsighted is a rage rapper who has recently become popular for dancing and singing in public with strangers. The stunt brings together people who don’t even know each other for a spontaneous dance party. He recently announced he would be in NYC for the week at various places, and I could not pass up the opportunity to meet and dance with him. A group of us converged on Grand Central Terminal for a couple of hours of fun. We started in the main concourse, then took the party to the Times Square shuttle for transit karaoke.
This week has been a dark one for me, due to both personal and external challenges. I am glad I was able to get out of my head long enough to meet up with Unsighted and other fun-loving New Yorkers to sing and dance. I needed that infusion of joy!
