Essex Market is the kind of indoor space that I love to spend time exploring. It is an indoor shopping mall, but it feels very different and more alive than the suburban malls I grew up with. There is something about the energy of New York City that makes spaces like this feel more interesting to me. I want to go back and spend time just wandering around people-watching.
