The Chicago skyline is very different from the New York City skyline, yet it felt familiar to me. I’m used to looking down busy roads at tall buildings and seeing museums in the distance. While I enjoy time in the country, the ease with which I moved through Chicago during my first visit reminded me I am a city girl through and through. And maybe it’s also a much needed reminder that I need not be in New York City for the rest of my life. We’ll see what the future holds.
